An immersive virtual field trip combining geology, technology, and local collaboration to bring fieldwork to life online.

A pilot project using 360° cameras and photogrammetry at Lightning Ridge captured fieldwork, 3D scans, and in-situ videos, providing immersive access for students unable to attend or access mines.

Our online 3D repository now includes over 2800 models of 3D data. Below, you'll find a selection of examples that showcase the diverse possibilities awaiting exploration.

A fantastic opportunites to cross collaborate in our team between 3D scanning and animation and custom learning artefacts. Using a physical artefact to extend it to three custom learning artefacts.

This opportunity provided us the chance to stress test out the equipment and see what limits we might have. It was also a chance to use our model in multiple outputs.

This is a pilot concept to explore the challenges to scan heritage-listed properties and scan individual objects using Pedestal3D.
