Building on UNE’s earlier virtual fieldwork initiatives, this project continues to explore innovative ways of bringing real-world environments into digital learning.

  • Created in collaboration between academics in Geology and the Learning Media team, featuring a refreshed interface and new functionality.
  • Developed in collaboration with local government to share resources and extend community impact.
  • Features an expanded collection of localised 3D assets for greater interactivity and engagement.
  • On-location filming and mapping completed by certified drone pilots to capture detailed site data.
