We boast professional, state-of-the-art recording facilities that are available to all UNE staff looking to create high-quality media content. The Learning Media studios are located in the TDS building and are available during work hours.
- In collaboration with the AV Team, the Learning Media studios saw a large upgrade to elevate the spaces into high-quality recording spaces for UNE staff. We boast 4 studios – See more below.
- We have an integrated booking system for you to find a time that suits you to book.
- Learning Media staff available for inductions and assistance (depending on your needs).

Studio A – Media Assisted Space
A high-quality AV recording space where you can record your lectures, presentations, or unit introductions with ease. Our state-of-the-art media equipment and knowledgeable media technician are available to assist you throughout the process, ensuring optimal audio and visual quality for your content creation needs.
Studio B – Advanced DIY Space
A sophisticated DIY media space, exclusively available to proficient media users, and is to be utilised independently. Primarily designated for creating unit video introductions, micro-lecture content, and high-quality presentations.
Studio C – Lightboard Studio
A dedicated professional studio for light board presentations and media creation, our lightboard studio offers an innovative and engaging way to deliver instructional content. With its transparent glass surface illuminated by LED lights, the lightboard allows presenters to write or draw while facing the camera, creating dynamic and visually appealing presentations. This studio is designed to be used independently, empowering users to create high-quality videos without the need for a Learning Media technician.
Studio D – Personal Capture Space
Our DIY dedicated media creation space is designed for UNE staff to independently produce high-quality media content. Equipped with state-of-the-art audio and visual hardware, this maintained studio offers a user-friendly environment for creating engaging multimedia materials. While accessible without the need for a Learning Media technician, our space ensures optimal conditions for staff to produce professional-grade media tailored to their needs.
Studio E – Office Suite
A highly configurable office environment perfectly set up for interview/discussion conversations with over-the-shoulder style recording, or top-down visualisations. This space offers flexible arrangements to accommodate various recording setups, ensuring optimal conditions for capturing engaging and dynamic content.
